Well it all started in about 1989. Pages mom wanted him to do something other then watching TV all day. Page said O.K.i wanna play bass . His mom said how about guitar,it sounds better. So he got his first guitar at age 9. His best friend Chris was impressed with Pages playing so he bugged his parents to get him a drum kit. That xmas came and Page got an electric guitar, and Chris got his drum's. Page more less got Chris into music. They wrote they're own songs and did their favorite's Metallica, GNR,and Nirvana song's in grade nine they got a singer named B.J. Joliceour they jammed for a while, then went their own ways. the bands name was obscene jesture !! One day a guy in his class heard Page play once, so he asked page to switch from guitar to bass,and join his band. Since bass was Pages dream, he went out and bought a bass. The band didn't last so Page called up Chris Thompson to jam. So they got back together. Page met Pete Rumple through his girlfriend they hung out alot. They both liked the same music , and it dawned on Page that they needed a singer! Page went to a show one night and meet Ryan Mazzapica he played guitar. We tried him out and he was good so we kept him. We played for about a year. Chris, Page, and Pete's taste in music change more towards korn, tool,and helmet. Ryan was strictly into punk so we started to look for a guitarist. Page, Chris, and Pete were pretty much in the band. After Ryan it was Alain Blais then Chad Harnden Oblige had a hard time with guitarist's. So Page said "FUCK IT". I'M going to go back to guitar and get a bass player, we knew a bass player that has been good friends for three years. He played in bands called Eleventh Hour, and Upper Level and his name is Charlie"Chuckles" that is how Oblige was formed. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
